About ErgoWorkSetup

ErgoWorkSetup exists because most ergonomic buying guides are written by people who have never actually sat in the chairs they recommend.

We started with a simple observation: the remote work boom created millions of people sitting at makeshift desks, in kitchen chairs, on sofas dealing with back pain, neck strain, and wrist problems that didn’t exist when they had office managers choosing their furniture. The internet offered plenty of “best chair” lists. Almost none of them were grounded in real testing, real experience, or honest analysis.

ErgoWorkSetup was built to fix that.

What We Do

We research, test, and review ergonomic office equipment chairs, desks, monitor arms, keyboards, accessories for people who work from home and spend serious hours at their desk.

Every recommendation on this site comes with a clear reason. We explain what we tested, what we looked for, and why a given product earns or doesn’t earn our recommendation. We don’t publish rankings just to fill a page. If a category doesn’t have a clear winner, we say so.

Our Approach

• Hands-on testing first. Products we recommend are products we have used. Where possible, we test over extended periods not just an afternoon unboxing.
• No pay-to-play. Brands cannot pay to be featured or recommended. Our affiliate relationships are disclosed clearly on every page, and they never influence which products make our lists.
• Plain language. Ergonomics has a lot of jargon. We translate it. If a lumbar support mechanism matters, we explain why not just that it exists.
• Updated regularly. Products change. Prices change. We revisit our recommendations and update pages when the market moves.
